Kate Spade Riley Red Daisy Rain Boot

It seems that in this fall season, all the designers are harkening back to the days of their childhood. Case in point: the Kate Spade Riley Red Daisy Rain Boot. It reminds me strongly of rain boots that I had as a child; except, well, they were better. I had these awesome red and yellow boots that I wore constantly, even when there weren’t puddles on the ground. They were my six-year-old fashion statement, and man, were those other girls jealous. These boots can be my twenty-five-year-old fashion statement, I guess, if I were brave enough to wear them outdoors. Actually, I’ve seen a lot of ladies dressing up for the watery weather with these crazy-printed rubber boots, and I think that if you can’t wear your designer pumps outside when it’s raining, you may as well wear your designer boots.

Ruby red never looked so luscious, until I set eyes on this elegant patent leather ruby Kate Spade Varenne Jocelyn clutch.

It’s as tempting as the evil queen’s apple, when she handed it to Snow White through the window. Equally tempting at almost $600, this Kate Spade beauty is almost convincing of such a price tag.
