We’ve got skinny jeans, and now we’ve got skinny handbags, which for the most part, don’t impress me. I’ve seen a lot of mediocre creations, but this bag by Christian Louboutin definitely catches my attention. It’s barely four and a half inches high, but it’s definitely the most interesting thing you’ll carry this season. Maybe it’s because I have an attraction to shiny handbags, but when I saw this one, I practically drooled. I certainly had to fight my credit card back into my wallet!

The asymmetrical clutch has a sleek metallic leather exterior with studded beading on the outside. This alone would make it the most beautiful bag I’ve ever seen, but then you look inside and the lining is Louboutin signature red. It’s got a flap closure with a magnetic clasp and could probably fit maybe a lipstick or a Razr phone, but with a bag like this, who needs to carry stuff? It’s practically a work of art – I wouldn’t want to stretch it out by putting things in it.

I could picture a girl wearing this with an elegant jewel-toned evening gown, such as royal blue or deep ruby-red. However, it would even look good with your best little black or grey dress, as well. The great thing about silver bags is that they really make anything look good. I much prefer silver to gold, for the most part. Speaking of interestingly-shaped clutches, this convertible pouch-style clutch from Inge Christopher definitely sparks mine. The silk taffeta pouch is sparkled with crystal rosettes and silver-toned hardware. It even comes with a little chain handle so that you don’t have to hold it directly in your hands. This clutch isn’t especially oddly-shaped, but it is interestingly-colored! The J. Renee Keeton/Key Clutch has a pleated fabric exterior with a vintage look to it. In this case, it’s green with faded pictures of flowers and grapes. It comes with a gold-toned chain strap and a gold-toned finished frame clasp.
