Christian Louboutin Graffiti Pump
I’ve always been one of those people who hate graffiti. I do recognize it as an art form, when it’s done well, but really, I’d prefer that my apartment exterior walls stay clean and spray-paint free. However, after seeing these beautiful Christian Louboutin pumps, it’s safe to say that my dislike of graffiti doesn’t extend to my shoes. Louboutins always get me excited, but honestly, where else would you find a pair of lemon-yellow shoes with a black upper and a red stiletto heel? And what’s even better is that the combination works – I’m not left wrinkling my nose at the thought of a wildly-patterned shoe designed for shock factor. Yeah, I’m shocked, but shocked in a good way – the same shock I’d get if Dolce and Gabbana decided to lower the price on their sexy Tall Harness boots.

The shoe itself has a four-inch heel, pointy toe and a black graffiti design on the collar and side of the shoe. These are obviously shoes that you wear to get noticed, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say that they’re not too versatile. I could see them with a black suit, pants or something to that effect, but you’re going to need to get creative with yellow wardrobe items to really make these shoes pop. Or, you could pair them with skinny jeans and a black shirt and it’d probably do the trick, too. But you’d better make sure you really like graffiti-designed pumps, because these babies will cost you about $675.00 at Barneys.com.
On my hunt for yellow pumps, I came across these beauties by Marc Jacobs; the only difference between these shoes and the Louboutins is that the graffiti’s on the inside of the shoe. They’ve both got a four-inch heel; both have that lemony-yellow exterior and both have the wild design, except that the Marc Jacobs have a black-and-white letter design on the lining. There is one other difference – the price. The Marc Jacobs pumps are $245.00 at Zappos.com.
Here’s a pump that’s classy and stylish – the Oh Deer Women’s Toffee Pump seamlessly combines black-and-white fabric with a yellow patent leather toe. Maybe not exactly graffitied, but still beautiful and eye-catching. The shoe comes with a four-inch stiletto heel and a sixties-reminiscent color-blocking that will make you drool. Get it at Endless.com for $110.95.
