Christian Louboutin Very Prive 942 Pumps

In my opinion, pink is never overrated, although I have some fashionista friends who would like to see the color erased from the fashion spectrum. For people like me who just love their shoes, these Christian Louboutin classic pink pumps are absolutely delicious. They’ve got a shiny leather upper paired with a deeper pink stiletto heel that stands a whopping four and a half inches. You’ve got to be serious about your shoes if you’re going to balance on these babies. The shoe has a peep open toe, for showing off that fresh pedicure, and a padded insole for those long nights of dancing (although if you’re going to wear Louboutins, you’re pretty much wearing them to be noticed). The shoes themselves, according to the site, run a bit small, so if you’re going to spend the half a paycheck to get these pumps, get a half size larger.

These shoes are equally chic paired with skinny jeans or a kicky skirt. If you’re brave, you might even wear them with work clothes, although personally I wouldn’t waste pink Louboutins on work. They’re more at home on a formal girl’s feet.

If you don’t like pink (although I can’t imagine why), the shoes also come in red. Now that’s sexy. Pick up your pair at SaksFifthAvenue.com for $770.00 (I said they were fabulous, not cheap).

I love Louboutins, but sometimes a girl just can’t afford the high designer prices. In that case, why not try the Oh Deer Ella pumps? They’ve got a metallic pink leather upper with a four-inch heel and platform sole to really give you height. Slightly different, they do compare to the Prive in their peep toe and slightly darker spike heel. However, and even better, they’re about 1/10 the price of the Louboutins at $78.95. Find them on Zappos.com.

The classic style really is elegant, but if you want to change it up a bit, Charles David’s got a peep toe Mary Jane-style pump called Brava that’s just as hot and just as pink as the Louboutins. This shoe’s got a leather and lizard upper with a little strap across the foot. The heel’s a little shorter than the Prive pumps at 3 and a half inches, but the peep toe’s just as cute and the price can’t be beat. Get yours at Endless.com for $134.95.
