Hogan Olympia Sneaker
With the plethora of beautiful shoes out there, it’s easy to get caught up in the loveliness that is the world of pumps, slingbacks and ballerina flats. However, with today’s society getting on their feet, designer sneakers are starting to come more and more into being. Take Hogan’s Olympia sneaker, for example. This is one incredibly beautiful shoe, and it actually has an athletic function. I mean, this shoe actually makes me want to run, and I don’t really do anything more than walk down city streets.

I love the natural-colored suede with metallic gold leather trim and the embossed logo on the side and tongue of the shoe, but what I like most about this shoe are the Velcro straps, which means that I don’t have to worry about tripping if my shoe comes untied (and yes, this has happened more than once). This shoe doubles as a fashion accessory and an athletic necessity. Don’t overlook the power of casual dress! I would wear these with a fun Juicy Couture track suit or a pair of jeans and a tank. In fact, if I had these shoes, I’d likely never take them off – they just seem so comfortable and stylish. Unfortunately, all this versatility comes at a price; but honestly, I think it’s worth it. I found the Olympias for $375.00 at NeimanMarcus.com.
Here’s a retro sneaker from KangaROOS that combines funky color with a slim sneaker. I wouldn’t run a marathon in these, but they’re definitely cool. The shoe comes in a variety of colors, including blue and grey, yellow, pink and green, and brown and burgundy. It has a zipper pocket on the outside of the shoe and a padded foot bed and rubber sole for ultimate comfort and traction. They’re cool, slim and comfortable – what more could you want? The best part is that these cool sneakers are only $49.95. Find them at Zappos.com.
When I was younger, Reebok shoes were the thing to have. You weren’t anyone on the playground unless you could jump, run and skip in your Reeboks. Now that I’m older, I realize that Reeboks are still the thing to have, especially when I look at the Retro Aztec Runners. Colorful in green, yellow and white, the shoe is made of suede and leather with laces and a padded collar and insole. I found them at Endless.com for $89.95.
